Gold rate has went streak in uptrend mode for last few days. Today gold rate has reduced of Rs.424 per sovereign in Chennai.

People belonging to added areas in Chennai worried about lack of water connections
The local body officials have collected the amount for the water connections and sewer connections but the residents belonging to Ullagaram - Puzhuthivakkam area in the south Chennai and Madhavaram in north Chennai are yet to receive water as well as sewer connections.

The government is planning to have a transit system, metro rail or light metro line. In the future, CMRL would be conducting feasibility studies and prepare a detailed project report or DPR.

Private trains to be introduced in 10 routes from Chennai
There is a proposal to introduce private trains in as many as 103 routes across India. Indian Railways has proposed to introduce private trains in 10 routes from Chennai.
