In Chennai railway stations like Egmore, Central and Tambaram etc, platform ticket rates increased
The order was issued by the Chennai railway division to increase the platform ticket rate from Rs 10 per head to Rs 50 per head in 3 stations like Tambaram, Egmore and Chennai Central.

First solar plant at Chembarambakkam to be installed by MWD

30+ conditions to set shops in Marina Beach: 360 allotted for new shop-setters
Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has imposed over 30 rules/regulations/restrictions for those who set up shops in Marina Beach. GCC has further announced that any violation of these rules will entail a penalty of Rs. 5000.
