CM Jayalalitha announces drastic measures for the welfare of school children
In her recent announcement, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha had announced a number of special measures for the welfare of school children. This includes distribution of free rain coats, socks and boots for students.

Students from government colleges to be sent abroad for further studies
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha has said that annually, about 100 students from 10 government engineering colleges will be sent to foreign universities and colleges for a period of 15 days for technical training.

CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) has announced the NET tests for filling the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)and lecturership.The candidates who write this NET (National Eligibility Test) successfully can get the appointments for the above research posts.

Revaluation and Retotalling results for Plus 2 supplementary examinations
Directorate of Government Examinations in a press release has mentioned: Special supplementary examinations for Plus 2 were held during the months of June and July. 54,893 candidates had appeared for this examination.

Infosys to train Anna University students- focusing on employment in multinational companies
Infosys will train Anna varsity students. Anna University�s Centre for University Industry Collaboration recently signed a memorandum to this effect with Infosys. Infosys will conduct a training programme for students and faculty of Anna University.
