Last date announced for applications for educational financial assistance for minorities
In a press release, the Office of the Chennai District Collector has announced the last date as 31st August for minority candidates belonging to Christianity, Islam, Sikhism. Jainism and Parsi religions to apply for educational financial assistance.

NEET becomes mandatory for medical entrance
From next year, it will be mandatory to take up National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is an entrance test for medical higher studies.

Distribution of application forms for B.Ed studies for the year 2016-17 has begun yesterday. This will be available till 9th of this month, Tuesday.

Results for the ML (Private Studies) to be released today
P David Jawahar, registrar of the University of Madras in a press release has mentioned that the result for the ML (Private Studies) which was held during the month of June is being released today.
