Students from government colleges to be sent abroad for further studies

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha has said that annually, about 100 students from 10 government engineering colleges will be sent to foreign universities and colleges for a period of 15 days for technical training.

Infosys to train Anna University students- focusing on employment in multinational companies

Infosys will train Anna varsity students. Anna Universitys Centre for University Industry Collaboration recently signed a memorandum to this effect with Infosys. Infosys will conduct a training programme for students and faculty of Anna University.

IIT and IIM Courses: 2000 students drop out of course half-way in the last 2 years
