Last date extended for prematric scholarships
A release from the Chennai District Collectorate has mentioned that Students from minority communities studying in government, government-aided, and government-recognized schools in Chennai district from Class I-X are eligible to apply for prematric scholarships.

Free mobile app development course by IIT-M
Starting from 5th of September, IIT-M will conduct a free online training where training on mobile app development will be given. The course is titled as Introduction to Modern Application Development.

Chain of initiatives to uplift education in Tamil Nadu

CM Jayalalitha announces drastic measures for the welfare of school children
In her recent announcement, Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalitha had announced a number of special measures for the welfare of school children. This includes distribution of free rain coats, socks and boots for students.
