There are 21 government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu. Out of the total seats available in these 21 government medical colleges, there is a 50 percent quota reserved for All India admission.

The state Minister of School Education, Tamil Nadu, K. A. Sengottaiyan, informed that changes in syllabus for school classes is likely in order to keep the students abreast and ready to write all national level entrance.

The written test for the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Personnel is scheduled to be conducted on 21st May in 410 examination centres.
