Teachers Recruitment Board will be conducting the test for the Secondary Grade Teachers on 29th April and for the Graduate Teachers on 30th April. 11 Lakhs applications are being printed.

A new scheme spark started in corporation schools to enable students to score higher marks
The Chennai corporation administration has commenced a scheme known as spark for the students of 10th and 12th Standards in all Corporation Schools in order to score 100 percent pass.

Single entrance examination for admission to engineering colleges
Last year the central government introduced the NEET examination for the MBBS and BDS aspiring candidates. Last year Tamil Nadu students were exempted from this examination. There is also confusion.

Examination dates for CBSE 10th and 12th Standards changed
There has been a change in the examination dates from what was announced earlier by CBSE for the 10th and 12th Standards.

Plus 2 practical examinations in Chennai to be held in 2 phases
The examination department has decided to hold Plus 2 practicals in Chennai District in 2 phases. The examination department has announced that the practical examinations for Plus 2 will commence from 2nd February.
