Self Defence as part of school curriculum
HRD Minister Shashi Tharoor has said that self-defence should be part of the Physical Education curriculum in all schools, especially for girls. The statement comes in the wake of several disturbing incidents of crimes against women all over the country.

Accident claims 5 in Trichy
