STD and ISD to go cheaper

The telecom regulator has made a new stride with its new way to offer cheaper STD and ISD calls. People can buy calling cards from the retail shops and make use of it for making cheaper calls to long distance places. One of the TRAI officials stated that the mobile network operators demand more for connecting long distances and this was the reason for increased rates till now.
It is to be noted that the ratio of ISD incoming calls to the outgoing calls is increased by 3 times in the past 7 years.
