Car Rally for the visually challenged was organized by the National Association of for the Blind in association with Madras Motor Sports Club on Sunday. The rally was a part of Goden Jubilee celebration of the Association. More than 80 person with visually disability participated.

CYCLING FOR FUN
Hercules Roadeos Mountain Biking Challenge was held on Sunday. Out of the 320 Participants Harish Ramkumar won. It was an adventure sport testing rider�s skills, ability to navigate through uncertain terrain with blinders challenging the riders. It I s important that the rider has enjoy the challenge.

KARUNANIDHI�S GESTURE TO DECEASED JOURNALISTS� FAMILIES
The Chief Minister Karunanidhi announced the payment of Rs 3.5 lakhs to each of the family of the journalists C Nagendrapillai who worked with Dinamalar for 23 years and V Jeeva Prabkaran who worked with Dinamani for 19 years , who died when on service from Journalist Family Welfare Fund.

Bangalore and Chennai would become the first Indian city to avail the facility of mobile number portability this May under which the users change the service providers in spite of changing their number.

PLUS II MARCH EXAMS HALL TICKET ISSUED FROM TODAY
Distribution of Hall tickets for the ensuing March examination has commenced from today. The examinations start on first of March and end on 22nd of March. About 7 lakhs 50 thousand student are expected to take the exam.. Government is taking stringent measures to prevent exam malpractices.

A K 47 RIFLES LANDS IN CHENNAI FROM DUBAI
A consignment of 10 AK-47 rifles along with telescopes landed here in a cargo plane three days ago and now security agencies are hot on trail of a man from Uttar Pradesh. Yusuf, a resident of Varanasi and a Customs Clearing agent here, is on the run and the police are looking for him after a person to whom the cargo was addressed claimed he had nothing to do with it.
