Pongal Train tickets sold in just 30 minutes

It is now the mid of November and people are looking forward for their Pongal celebrations in their hometown. At this juncture, the southern railways opened the ticket bookings for January which surprisingly got sold just within 30 minutes of opening.
When enquired to a senior official at the railways department, he stated that train tickets for 11th, 12th and 13th January to places like Thirunelveli, Madurai, etc got th, sold within half an hour. He also added that these tickets were sold via catering and tourism corporation websites of the Indian railways.
