Shopping malls to be set up in CMRL Railway stations shortly
With the double intention of attracting the public and earning more revenue, it has been planned to set up malls in the Chennai Metro Railway Stations. The activities for this project is set to commence shortly.

CMRL services extended till 11pm for Christmas festive season
As there are more passengers travelling the Chennai Metro during the current Christmas festive season, the daily train service is extended till 11.00 PM.

CMRL phase-2 work will begin in March 2018
In the 2nd Phase of the Chennai Metro Rail Project, 3 corridors are planned - Madhavaram-Siruseri, Koyambedu Bus Terminus-Light House, and Madhavaram-Sholinganallur, covering a total distance of 107 km.

CMRL to wrap up phase 1 tunneling on Monday
By Monday, CMRL is all set to make a new milestone, as it is set to wrap up constructing the very last tunnel for its phase-1 project.
