Pongal discounts for Chennai citizens: 50% fare in Metro Rail on 15th, 16th, and 17th!
It has been announced by CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) that a 50% reduction in fare will be applicable on 15th, 16th, and 17th January.

Metro rail tweaks designs of stations in North Chennai
In another 6 months, the Washermenpet to Wimco Nagar metro line would be commissioned and in North Chennai, the metro stations would have a new look with four-level shopping arenas and Spartan interiors.

Parking space at the Chennai Central metro station soon

There would be metro trains till 1 AM in Chennai
Chennai Metro Rail Limited would be operating metro train services till 1 AM on 1st January 2020. The main purpose was to cater to the revellers to return back to their places of destinations.
