Having severe muscle cramps, dont worry, eat these foods to get relief!!

Most of us would have experienced muscle cramps in our lives at some point of time. The muscle cramps in us  would make us feel highly uncomfortable. Point to be noted is that the muscle cramps mostly develop in the leg muscles leading to severe pain in the legs. The muscle cramps are nothing but involuntary contractions of the muscles and usually the cramps will go away after a few minutes. 

There are certain causes for the muscle cramps in us like dehydration, muscle strain and being in a position for a longer time etc. There are also possibilities of getting muscle cramps when we don`t have enough vitamins and minerals like vitamin D, magnesium, potassium etc

There are some  foods that can be eaten to get relief from muscle pain issues. These are

Coconut water intake:

It is known that coconut water is full of minerals like sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium eta and these would certainly reduce the muscle cramps and provide us good relief.

Papaya fruit intake:

Papaya fruit has good amounts of magnesium and potassium etc and intake of this fruit will ease the muscle pain in us. There will be active transport of potassium and calcium ions in the cell membrane and this is needed for the muscles to contract,conduction of nerve impulse etc.

Fish intake:

Eating fishes like sardines and salmon etc that have nutrients such as iron, calcium and sodium would ease the muscle pain in us effectively.

Watermelon intake:

Intake of watermelons could make us feel hydrated is a well  known fact. The presence of minerals like calcium, magnesium and potassium etc in this fruit would reduce the muscle cramp pain. This is because the overall muscle functions would be improved.

Sweet potato intake:

There are important minerals like calcium, potassium and magnesium in sweet potato and these would provide us huge relief from the muscle cramps.Fact is that low levels of magnesium and calcium will lead to muscle cramps in us.

Chamomile tea intake:

Not only chamomile tea intake would make us sleep well but it would also provide relief from muscle cramps etc also. The presence of many terpenoids and flavonoids etc in chamomile tea would treat issues like inflammation, muscle cramps, insomnia etc.

Avocados intake:

Our muscle health would be good when we eat avocados that are rich in minerals like potassium and magnesium etc. Muscle cramps would be reduced. In addition, our overall health would become better.
