Have you ever noticed that it is during the time between lunch and dinner the cravings for food are more?

Many of us while consuming tea in the evening eat some snacks also and these two go hand in hand is a well known. It is true that most of us eat some unhealthy snacks with tea. It is common to see people eating snacks like pakoras, fried namkeen, maida biscuits, chips etc along with tea in the evening.

The bitter truth is that these snacks might be good for the taste buds or delicious to eat but they are not good for our health. There are chances that we might even put on weight by eating these unhealthy snacks mindlessly.  In the long run, these unhealthy snacks could even lead to some serious issues too.

Please eat these below mentioned snacks that are both delicious as well as good for the health.

Eating makhana:
By eating this healthy snack makhana a person would get fibres, calcium and protein etc. Being easy to make, makhana could go well with a cup of evening coffee or tea. In the first step, one teaspoon of ghee is heated in a pan and added to it one cup of makhana. In the next step,  the combo is heated till it becomes golden brown in colour and makhana is consumed when they are crisp. Various other health benefits of makaha intake are they are rich in antioxidants, stabilize blood sugar levels, good for heart health and have anti-aging properties etc,

Eating popcorn:
If you want to eat popcorn, then please avoid those that are available in the shops as they contain butter and salt. Instead, buy raw corn kernels and make popcorn at home itself. It would be good to make popcorn with the help of olive oil. Being a good source of polyphenols, popcorns could help in better digestion, blood circulation etc.

Eating roasted chana:
Many dieticians and nutritionists usually recommend roasted chana as it is good for your health. It does not have cholesterol and is rich in fibres and proteins. It would be better to eat roasted chana instead of fried namkeens and mixtures etc. It would provide many benefits like lowering inflammation, lowering cholesterol etc in us.
