These are the various reasons why miscarriages take place in pregnant women

It is a dream for all women to become mother in their lives atleast once and the women who become pregnant always hope of delivering their babies successfully. But not always this happens and sometimes miscarriages take place in pregnant women and they feel shattered and depressed. This miscarriage is also known as early pregnancy loss. No pregnant woman would want miscarriage to happen to them or to any other pregnant woman.
There are few reasons that could result in a miscarriage in a pregnant woman. They are
Abnormalities in chromosomes - Minute structures or chromosomes are responsible for carrying our genes is known. It is now said that mismatched chromosomes would lead to miscarriages hugely. Human has got 23 pairs of chromosome one set from father and one set from mother. Chromosomal abnormalities in embryo takes place when egg or sperm meet and one or other is faulty in nature. When this happens then miscarriages would take place.
Abnormality in uterus - This could also be a reason for the miscarriages in pregnant mothers. In few mothers uterus would be abnormally shaped and sometimes uterus would be divided. This uterine septum could be rectified by an operation.
Incompetent cervix - Successful pregnancy could be stopped due to weak or incompetent cervix. Weak cervix would not be able to hold the foetus as the foetus had grown in size after the first trimester. A procedure called as cerclage could be used to rectify this incompetent cervix issue.
Thyroid and uncontrolled diabetes - Not many know that these issues could not only create many problems regarding our health but also miscarriages in pregnant women. These two issues could lead to unfavourable uterine environment and the embryo finds it difficult to survive. By keeping thyroid plus diabetes under control this miscarriage could be prevented.
Lifestyle - It is really shocking to note that many women maintain unhealthy lifestyle in this fast paced world. This unhealthy lifestyle could result in miscarriages also in pregnant females. Smoking during the pregnancy is dangerous and it would result in miscarriage. Nicotine could interfere with the foetal growth and blood supply. Miscarriages could also take place when a pregnant mother drinks.
