Generally, it is true that eating fish is beneficial for people with cholesterol complaint. This is mainly because some fish contain Omega-3 & Omega-6. These ingredients reduce the inflammation in blood veins and also prevent fat deposit in them. This will help prevent complaints like heart attack and paralytic attack.

American Heart Association has recommended that 3 to 5 ounces of fish should be eaten at least twice a week. People with heart complaints will have to take more quantity of fish. Omega-3 & Omega-6, ingredients in fish, help prevent heart diseases while keeps the cholesterol level under good control. Researchers have established that it also helps improve memory power  and prevents deposit of fat in the liver.

Though Omega-3 & Omega-6 are available in tablet forms, the effect is not as good as while eating fish. Gingerly oil or sesame oil contains 55% Omega-3. Omega-3 is also available in soya oil.So, it is good to include these item in diet.

However, there is a snag – latest research reveals that eating Omega-3 & Omega-6 alone is not sufficient – It is also the Percentage ration how they are mixed in the food. The recommended ratio is 2:1. Fish has this ration in the natural form itself.
