Two Thousand Auto’s Abolition – for Not Implementing the New Auto Fee

The government has announced that, people can give complaint on Auto drivers is they are short of using the meter box, hiding the new fee card from the sight of the customers, receiving a fee by old procedures without using the meters, performing falsifying deed in the meter box.
Accordingly, people can give their calls to the numbers; 044-267 44445, 044- 247 49002, for registering their complaint to the Regional Transport office. The complaints should get registered along with the Auto’s registration number. About 100 complaints have been received yet. Until now, many complaints are reached in Joint Transport commissioner office located in North Ayanavaram and south Ashok Nagar. As per the new Auto Fee rule declared, the Government gave enough time for the auto drivers to alter their meter boxes.
But many auto drivers are not seriously considering this rule and didn’t take attention to change their meter boxes and yet torturing the customers by receiving the old fee. On behalf of this implementation, officers conducted the vehicle test in Chennai and around two thousand got blocked and necessary actions are taken on respective auto drivers and owners.
In addition to these actions, the driver license of the auto drivers are confiscated and even temporary refusal of the license is also in action. Until then all the Government rules are completely in road, these punishment action will continue.
