PTZs to replace CCTV monitoring systems

As a step to improve security in the airport, 52 new high definition pan tilt zoom cameras are being installed by the city police. These are considered as replacements for CCTV cameras. However, these PTZs will be of lesser pixel qualities. The key feature of the camera is its zooming ability which is up to 200 metres.
When enquired to a police official regarding this new step, he stated that PTZs have helped their department in solving three incidents which included an assault case.
