Metro rail has evacuated the parks in Broadway

The park on Prakasm Street in Broadway has disappeared with the construction works going on for Chennai metro rail. Half of the park area was taken by them for office and the rest of the area is covered with encroachments.
The park is now enclosed with the blue aluminum sheets. The evacuation of the park has hugely affected the children and elder people who use to visit early in the morning and evening to spend some time with their friends and children and relax. However, the public was promised by metro rail for restoring the park back to its condition.
