The bus shelters in Chennai are expected to come with the new appearance, providing detailed information about the timings and more. The officials of Chennai Corporation say that about 108 bus shelters are about to come in various places and these shelters will include the details of the routes, frequencies of services, accessibility of buses to the nearest railway stations in Chennai and bus depots.
Each shelter will also have the area map with the complete information about the hospitals, schools, government offices and religious institutions in that area. Furthermore, the officials have also planned to write a brief history of the neighborhood and the tradition information.
