Almost all tickets booked in the special trains operated by Southern Railway

On the occasion of the Independence Day, Southern Railway is operating special trains between Chennai and Nagercoil and Tirunelveli and Yesvantpur. As Independence Day falls on Thursday, several people have taken leave on Friday and are travelling for an extended weekend. The special trains will be run to clear extra rush on the eve of the Independence Day and on the weekend. When the reservations opened yesterday morning, 50% of the tickets have been booked. Now it is understood that almost the berths of these trains have been booked.
