Prospects for heavy rain in Tamil Nadu in the next 5 days! Alert from the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects  for heavy rains in the districts of Nilgiri, Coimbatore, and Tirupur due to the formation of cyclonic formats in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

In a notification released by the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, it is mentioned:

There are prospects for rains with lightning and thunder in a few places in the districts of Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Kallakurichi, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sivagangai, and Ramanathapuram.

There are prospects for heavy rains with thunder tomorrow (Thursday, 2nd September) n a few places in the districts of Nilgiri, Dindigul, Theni, Salem, Thiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, Vellore and Thirupathur.

There are prospects for mild rains in a few places in the districts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Pudhukkottai, and Trichy.

On 3rd September, there are prospects for heavy rains with thunder in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri, Theni, Dindigul, Salem, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, and mad Thirupathur.

On 4th September, there are prospects for heavy rains with thunder in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, and Salem.

On 5th September, there are prospects for rains with thunder in a few places in the districts of Nilgiri and Dindigul.

As regards Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain generally cloudy in the next 48 hours. There a retrospects for mild rain in a few places. The maximum temperature will be 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 24 Degrees Celsius.

As there are prospects for the high-speeds wind to blow at 40-50 kmph from today (1st September) until 5th September in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, coastal areas of Kerala, Lakhdiv area, and the west and the central west Arabian Sea, fishermen are warned not to venture into the sea.
