Prospects for rain in Chennai and Thiruvallur districts in the next 24 hours

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that due to the intense depression zone prevailing over the coastal areas of the states of Odisha and West Bengal, the weather condition will be cloudy for the next 24 hours in 8 districts in Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Thiruvallur, and Kanchipuram.
Further, the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed there are prospects for mild to medium rains in the above-mentioned areas. With the cloudy condition prevailing in the Chennai Metro City and its suburbs, there are prospects for rain in 1 or 2 places and the maximum temperature will be 32 Degrees Celsius.
The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has also warned that as high-speed winds at 50 kmph to 60 kmph are likely to blow over the southwest and the central-north Arabian Sea, the fishermen must not venture into the sea in these areas.
