TNPSC Group-1 Examination postponed!

Due to coronavirus scare and prevention activities, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced that the Group-1 Preliminary Written examination is postponed.
A notification released by the Secretary, TNPSC, in this regard mentions:
It has been announced earlier that the preliminary written examination for Group-1 cadre will be scheduled and conducted on 4th April. In this situation, the candidates have appealed that this examination must be postponed due to the prevailing coronavirus situation.
Giving due consideration to the importance of carrying out the coronavirus prevention activities and the appeal from the Group-1 cadre examination candidates, the Group-1 cadre preliminary examination, scheduled on 4th April, is now postponed. The date will be announced shortly.
