Cyclone Fani leads to cancellation of 223 trains in the Chennai-Kolkata route

The cyclone Fani, originally formed over the southeast of Bengal and stabilized there, has since transformed into an extremely violent cyclone and will drift towards the northwest and will cross the coast in Odisha state.
There will not be any harm/damage in Tamil Nadu due to this. Mild winds may blow at the coastal districts.
There are prospects of mild rain in a few places in Chennai.
In this scenario, as a precautionary measure due to cyclone Fani, the Indian Railways has announced that 223 trains operating in the route Chennai-Kolkata will be cancelled until 4th May.
