There are prospects of the temperature to shoot up in 10 cities in Tamil Nadu.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, N. Puviyarasan, shard in this regard:
The winds blowing from the east towards Tamil Nadu tend to drift immediately towards the north. Due to this, the winds blowing from the east in the interior districts of Tamil Nadu are rather weak! Hence, there are strong prospects of temperature shooting up by up to 7 Degrees in the interior districts of Vellore, Krishnagiri, Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Trichy, Perambalur, Karur, and Dindigul,
As per the temperatures recorded yesterday (Wednesday, 13th March) at 5.30 PM, a maximum temperature of 102 Degrees was recorded at Salem. It was 101 Degrees in Dharmapuri and Tiruthani.
As there no wind rotations/cycles beneficial to Tamil Nadu, there are no prospects of rain in the next few days.
