It is known that on 4th June 2014, the NEET results were declared. According to the experts it is revealed that the cut-off marks for the MBBS courses might increase 10 to 15 marks in each category. The reason for this is the students belonging to Tamil Nadu have performed better in this year NEET.

Superb NEET coaching has made not only CBSE students to excel but also many students belonging to private schools and government aided schools have scored above 400 marks now and that is tremendous. Career consultant expressed his views and spoke about how many students have devoted to one full year NEET coaching and they have done well now.

He further explained how when compared to 2017 this year 12000 more students qualified and that would certainly have an impact on the cut-offs marks for joining MBBS course.

He highlighted that in the year 2017 the cut-offs for OC students was 385 and in 2018 this could increase to 400 marks. Likewise in 2017 the cut-offs for BC category students was 325 and it could go to 380 this year. Many MBC category students have done superbly in this year in NEET and that is a superb piece of news. He then spoke about how the cut-offs for MBC in 2017 was 250 marks and how cut-offs for SC could also go up this year.

This career consultant then threw light on the fact that in Tamil Nadu NEET based admission was from last year only and it was after a big gap of 10 years. In states like Andhra Pradesh or Rajasthan there has been entrance examination for admitting the students to medical courses. Hence there must not be any comparison between TN students and the students of the above mentioned states etc.

Aakash Coaching Centre is famous and as per this coaching centre more students have scored over 400 marks in NEET in this 2018. Namakkal based super schools were happy that many of its students have scored above 400 marks in NEET this year.  Secretary of a  private school spoke about how 16 students of this school have scored above 400 marks. He also hinted that cut-off marks for medical courses might increase by 5 to 10 % in this year.

It is really sensational that one student belonging to Green Park School scored over 610 marks in the NEET and around 40 students scored above 450 marks.
