Excel Template for filing GST details introduced

In order to facilitate the entering of sales Data as required for the GST filing, GST Network has introduced an exclusive GST template.
The data under GST transactions have to be filed before 10th of every month. In order to help the large, medium and small-scale traders to meet this demand, GST Network has introduced a template on Microsoft Excel.
The template contains 8 forms. This can be downloaded from the GST website - www.gst.gov.in.
Details are to be entered in the above forms in Excel. These details have to be uploaded GST website through another device – this device would be introduced on 15th July.
It is notable that these excel templates can be used without internet facility. The GST Network CEO Navin Kumar explained that the main idea is to simplify the process of entering the data to be furnished. The data can be filled up on weekly basis.
