Application call for data entry operators and grade-C jobs

For over 5132 vacancies in Data Entry Operator and Grade-C jobs with the government for the present year, 2016, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made an announcement. SSC is at present inviting online applications.
Job post: Postal Assistant or Sorting Assistant - 3281
Salary: Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 and pay grade of Rs 1,900
Job position: Data entry operator - 1321
Salary: Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 and incentive of Rs 2,400
Job position: Lower division clerk - 506
Salary: Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 and incentive of Rs 1900
Job position: Court clerk - 26
Salary: Rs5,200 to Rs 20,200 and incentive of Rs 1900
Age limit: as of1st January 2017, the applicant should fall between ages 18 and 27. There will also be relaxation in age limit as pre government’s orders
Eligibility: applicant should have completed higher secondary studies or equal in government or government accredited educational institution. For select positions, the applicant should also know Hindi or English languages with good typing speed
Selection procedure:
Selection will be made based on certification verification, typing test and written test.
Application fees
The application fees amount is Rs 100. This can be paid online. SC, ST widows, ex-servicemen, and women have no application fees
How to apply?
Apply online at www.ssconline.nic.in. A printout of the soft copy of the application should be taken and submitted along with required certificates and submitted to respective address as mentioned below.
Exam centre
Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli, and Pondicherry are the centres where the exam is set to take place.
The last date for submitting applications is 7th November 2016.
Exam dates: 7th January 2017, 5th February 2017 and 9th April 2017
