Gold requirement in India to reduce this year

The World Gold Council report states that the need for gold in the ongoing year in India is likely to reduce. While the gold requirement during last year was 860 tonnes, the same will be of the range 750 to 800 tonnes in the present year, the report points.
During the first six months between January and June 2016, the gold requirement got reduced by 248 tonnes. This accounts to 30 percent reduction, the council states.
