Search of the missing AN 32 plane to be stopped from 7th Sep

Army officials have mentioned that the search for the missing Indian Air force plane will come to an end on 7th September since there are no positive results even after 42 days search. Indian Air Force transport aircraft AN32 went missing with 29 crew members aboard on July 22
In one of its largest search and rescue operations in recent years, the government deployed ships, planes and a submarine to trace the missing aircraft. Surface search was going on and also underwater search was going on, but so far there was no clue.
Oceanographic research vessel Samundra Ratnakar of the Geological Survey of India and research vessel Sagar Nidhi of the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) are undertaking sea bed profiling.
Since all these searched did not yield any results, it has been decided to cease the search operations from 7th September.
