Sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu because of South West Monsoon

The South West Monsoon has begun in Kerala. There is heavy rain in the Tamil Nadu districts situated near the Western Ghats. With the strengthening of westerly winds, several parts of southern Tamil Nadu and Kerala received heavy rains. While the monsoon will continue to spread over Kerala, some parts of Tamil Nadu are also likely to get some showers. Chennai will continue to experience a dip in daytime temperature of around 34 degree Celsius and receive thunder showers in the evening till Friday.
