Prospects of rain in a few places in Tamil Nadu due to thermal convection

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that there will be rain with cyclonic winds in a few places in Tamil Nadu due to the thermal convection.
S Balachandran, Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, explained that due to thermal convection, there may be showers or showers with thunders in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
In the northern part of Tamil Nadu, there may be rains with cyclonic winds in a few places.
