Microsoft Garage Hub Keyboard now available on iOS

Posted on: 10/Apr/2016 3:56:58 PM
iOS now has the Microsoft Garage Hub Keyboard. The keyboard is a productivity boosting tool. It incorporates information from other apps in the device into the keyboard. It also gives easier access to files and contacts by integrating with Microsoft Office 365. The keyboard, which has a size of 21.2 MB, works on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The Hub Keyboard has been available on Android since February this year. On Android, it is called Hub Keyboard, Preview. The iOS version has fewer features that its Android counterpart. This is because of the difference in the design of the underlying OS. On Android, the keyboard allows users to scroll through a list of previously copied items in the clipboard, and paste from any of them. Comparatively, only the last copied text is available on iOS. Also, translation using Microsoft Translator is not available. On Android, the user can search and share websites and news using Bing, directly from the keyboard. This is another feature that is not available on the iOS version.

Office 365 documents that are stored in OneDrive or SharePoint can be shared using the keyboard.
