Prospects of rain in southern coastal districts

The Meteorological Centre has informed that there are good prospects of rain or rain with thunder in in southern coastal districts of the state.
A meteorological centre official informed that no rain has been recorded in the period till Saturday 8.30 AM in the last 24 hours.
A low depression zone formed in the ocean near Srilanka-Kanyakumari area. It has continued to remain there. Because of this, there may be rain or rain with thunder in a few areas in the coastal districts such as Ramanathapuram, Thirunelveli, Tuticorin, etc
Climate will remain dry in other areas. Cloudy conditions will prevail in Chennai city. The maximum temperature recorded might touch 90 Degrees Fahrenheit.
