Do you eat just for the taste?

In these days, we have plentiful delicacies and snacks to chow down. Potato chips, burgers, chocolates, ice creams, cakes, grills and lot wait alongside streets to tempt you that you grab some and imbibe, whether or not you feel hungry.

In total contrary to those who live in traditional societies where there are no such temptations, people living in contemporary regions eat a lot not to quench their hunger, but just because they have tasty food available with ease and that they beckon throughout the day.

According to a new study, researchers have identified that there are various disadvantages of such eating habits where consumers eat even without a tinge of hunger.

The study involved observing 45 undergraduate students. Those who were moderately hungry before their meal had lower levels of blood glucose after eating as compared to those who did not feel hungry before eating. According to these findings, it is far better to eat when you are moderately hungry, than to dive in without hunger at all.
