Instructions on donating towards CMs relief fund

All the government employees and teaching staff members have decided to donate their one day salary to Chief Minister’s relief fund that will be of use for flood protection. With regards to this donation, special instructions are announced by the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu. Excerpts from the instruction are as follows:
Those who are willing to donate their one day salary towards flood prevention need to give in written about their willingness. The writing should be submitted to the cashier. He will divide the monthly salary by 31 and calculate the amount for donation.
The amount donated will be given to the Chief Minister`s Public Relief Fund as cheque along with a list of all donators and their respective employment details. The amount donated will enjoy a 100 percent tax exemption. For those who donate in addition to this, separate bill will be provided too and there will be tax exemption for this extra amount too.
The above is applicable for local settings, universities, unions, boards, government aided educational institutes, and those who receive consolidated pay.
