Measles vaccination camp

People welfare association has requested the public to take part in measles vaccination camp that is held in Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Tuticorin and Cuddalore. In a press release made for the same, it is said that the camp is being held across these flood-hit districts of Tamil Nadu. Babies above 9 months until children of 15 years of age can take part in the camp.
These camps are being conducted in these districts since 11th of this month. Following this, camps are also being conducted at Tuticorin and Cuddalore from yesterday. The camps are targeted to vaccinate nearly 7.65 lakh children. As of yesterday, 1,41,470 vaccinations are done. The camp will continue to take place until the target is reached. The press release invites people from these districts to bring their children and get them vaccinated for measles.
