New ATM cards and passbooks for the flood affected people

Those of the people who have lost their bank passbooks and ATM cards in the recent floods will be issued fresh ones by the concerned banks. Those of the people who do not have bank accounts can approach a nearby bank and open an account under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana scheme. They will have to submit two passport size photos and a photo identity card.
