Electricity restored in 95 percent areas

Electricity has been restored in 95 percent of the areas after the disruption due to the incessant heavy rains in several areas.
Activities are in progress under full swing to restore electricity in the remaining 5 percent areas.The house-owner will have to repair/replace the energy meters which got damaged due to the heavy rains.
State Minister for electricity Mr. Natham Viswanathan told the reporters in R K Nagar, Chennai that electricity would be restored once the defective energy meters are rectified.
