Heavy rains disturb the daily life-routine of Chennai Residents

Heavy rains have been incessant over the last few weeks in Tamil Nadu. This has upset the daily routine life of the residents of Chennai, Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai and any other districts.
Heavy rains, which resumed yesterday evening, has continued to lash Tamil Nadu and from early morning today (Tuesday, 1st December), it has been even more heavy. With the ominous collection of clouds, day-time looks like night.
All the roads are flooded heavily in Chennai Metro City. Traffic has been cut off in some areas like Tambaram-Mudichur and Kozhivakkam in Kanchipuram.
As per the latest information received, Chennai Metro City`s Santhome High Road is heavily flooded – The entire traffic along the road is almost floating and moving slowly! With the last few hours heavy rain, Santhome High Road has almost become a small lake!
