Chennaites shocked by heavy rains - Traffic comes to a halt

Since there is again heavy down pour of rains in Chennai, people are facing great difficulty in navigating their vehicles. There are heavy rains from the wee hours in Chennai. Due to this there is heavy water stagnation. Because of the vehicles are moving in small place in the areas such as Guindy, Vadapalani, Saidapet, Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Mylapore and Foreshore Estate.
In some of the places normal life is very badly affected. The badly affected areas due to heavy down pour in the suburbs are Tambaram, Red Hills, Kuzhal, Kolathur, Madhavaram, Rajamangalam and Poonamallee. People are deeply worried about this situation. Power has been snapped due to strong winds.
