Hyundai does its bit for flood relief

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has contributed to flood relief in the city. 

The Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) distributed around 1000 bedsheets, 1000 mats, 2500 biscuit packets, 500 tarpaulins, 500 water tubs and 1000 bread packets to the affected in Sriperumbudur near Chennai. They visited the villages of Ettikuthimedu, Akkamapuram, Vellarai, KK Nagar and Kaduvancery villagers in the region. In the presence of local government officials and panchayat presidents, volunteers from HMIL and officials from HMIF and the United Union of Hyundai Employees distributed materials to 500 people who have been affected by the floods.
