Water enters Chromepet hospital, soaks medicine boxes

Rain water has entered the ground floor of the Chromepet General Hospital. The entire floor was inundated and the medicine boxes were completely soaked. Patients who were in the maternity ward on the ground floor were shifted to the above floors.
Hospital staff spent much of yesterday morning shifting medicine boxes from the floor to cupboards and shelves. They stood in ankle deep water during the process.
