Power production disruption in Thermal Plant in Athipattu

Since there is repair in the North Chennai Thermal Power Station Athipattu, Thiruvallur (District), Chennai, there is no production of 250 mega watts of power.
There are two phases in this thermal unit. In the first phase there are three units. Each unit produces 210 mega watts of power. In the second phase there are two units and each unit produces 600 mega watts respectively.
At this juncture, the boiler in phase 1 is under repair. Because of this there is disruption in producing 210 mega watts. This is the third time that power supply is disrupted.
