Heavy rains to lash Tamil Nadu

Chennai Meteorological Center`s director S R Ramanan mentioned that the North East Monsoon rains will commence on 28th because there will be a low depression in Bay of Bengal near Sri Lanka.
At this juncture, there have been rains in Tamil Nadu for the last two days. Meteorological Center has announced that there will be rains in many areas of Tamil Nadu for the next four days.
Officials of Meteorological Center said, “Due to upper cyclonic circulation in Sri Lankan sea, there are sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu for the last two days. Today there will be rain or rains accompanied with thunder in Southern Tamil Nadu. There will also be rains in some parts of Northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There will be heavy rains for the next three days in many parts of Tamil Nadu. On the whole there will be rains for the next four days from today.”
