CMRL to conduct trial between Little Mount and Officers Training Academy

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) may launch on Friday or Saturday the trial run for the stretch between Little Mount and Officers` Training Academy. The track work was completed long ago and the electrification was also done some time ago. The State government has said the stretch between Chennai Airport and Little Mount will be commissioned by March 2016. CMRL officials also want to commission the stretch between Alandur and St. Thomas Mount by then. All these trials are expected to continue till March 2016.
