Sukanya Samriddhi scheme: 11 lakh accounts opened in Tamil Nadu Postal Circle

Tamil Nadu Postal Circle on Tuesday announced that 11 lakh accounts have been opened under the Sukanya Samriddhi or Selvamagal Semippu scheme. Introduced in January, this is a saving scheme exclusively for girls born between 03-12-2003 and 01-12-2005. They are eligible to open accounts until December 1.
